Comfort In Times of Grief

Grief is an incredibly difficult time for us as humans. These grid packs have been created with sensitivity and love. When someone we love is grieving, or when it is us ourselves, we feel powerless. “Grief is the price we pay for love” – Queen Elizabeth II (adapted by a passage written by Dr Colin Murray Sparkes) – this quote hits hard when you have felt true grief. Love is one of the strongest forces in the Universe. And the sheer volume of loss we feel when it is taken from us is unspeakable. My intent for these grid packs is to be a gift for someone grieving, to show them some comfort and love in such a difficult time.

Pack 1.A.

1x Pink Opal, at the centre, to bring Compassion. It is important when grieving to feel compassion for ourselves.

2x Lepidolite (purple), at the top of the grid, to the left and right. Lepidolite can help us to release our suffering. In times of grief, we often hold on to those hard feelings, as a way of staying connected to our lost ones. However, love only wants the best for us, and doesn’t want us to suffer. Lepidolite can help us let go of that suffering, even if just for a moment, so we can feel the love.

1x Botswana Agate, at the bottom of the grid. Botswana Agate (stripey stone) is a powerful crystal that brings great comfort.
